TE 842-730: Elementary Reading Assessment and Instruction
Instructor: Laurel Jensen Disney
Semester: Spring 2012
During this course I had to choose one student to focus on within my Kindergarten classroom. I used assessments to decide which type of reading instruction the child needed. I then instructed that child accordingly. After I instructed the child, I assessed the child again to see if my method of instruction had improved the child's reading skills. We looked at multiple reading assessments and ways those assessments could drive our instruction.
